Michio Watanabe

I am a Illustrator

Michio Watanabe (Kobe, 1961) has been a freelance illustrator for magazines and advertising since 1989.

I studied oil painting and printmaking at Kyoto Seika University

and practiced in an atelier specialized in silkscreen prints.

My work has been selected at the Illustrators Exhibition of the

Bologna Children Book Fair three times in 2009, 2011,and 2014.

My first children's book The Twe Frogs was published in 2013 by Anjotoshokan.
